Las Amigas Incorporated is a non-profit organization that uses fundraisers to generate the financial resources to  support their missions and programmatic thrusts which include but are not limited to: feeding the homeless, collaborating with local schools to support their programs and initiatives, and partnering with other non- profit organizations to help rebuild and strengthen the communities. in which they live.

Our fundraisers; galas, auctions, online campaigns, or community events, engage donors (individuals and corporations), raise awareness and creates a sense of community involvement. These funds help provide services like food, shelter, eduation and healthcare to those in need.     

 

This past year,  funds were used to help purchase school supplies for Ben L. Smith High School  throughout the year.  We partnered with the Greensboro Police Department to supply blankets for the senior assisted living center on Church Street.  Additionally, we provided blankets to those residents in Western Carolina  that were affected by Hurricane Helene.
